'Sarah' Lavender

My mom brought me some perennials from my grandma's yard to plant in our front bank. Mostly ferns, but one special plant she brought me was a 'Sarah' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). It's an english style lavender - here's a picture of what the blossoms look like on this plant. I'm excited to see it bloom next summer!

  1. I think that is the most beautiful plant and it has so much meaning being a Sarah and being from your Grandmother's garden. I just LOVE things like that. I have a few jars of my Grandma's canned fruits from a few years ago that I am saving for a rainy day. Grandmothers are so dear to my heart.
